Courses

The courses on this site are intended to assist veterinary professionals in producing good quality radiographs and perhaps learn some views they may not already know how to do.

Our courses are meant to supplement training in radiography received in veterinary or certified veterinary technician programs. It is assumed that the participants have standard knowledge of veterinary terms and nomenclature.

Veterinary professionals qualified in the field of veterinary imaging write all VetRadCE.com courses. Each course deals in-depth with a specific subject of veterinary imaging. A short series of quiz questions is included with each course. In order to receive CE credit, each participant needs to complete, submit, and score 70% or better on the quiz. Quiz answers can be submitted by email.

Every course is certified by RACE (Registry of Approved Continuing Education) for veterinarian and veterinary technician approval. Each course meets the requirements for one hour of continuing education credit (unless otherwise noted) in jurisdictions that recognize AAVSB's RACE approval. However, participants should be aware that some boards have limitations on the number of hours accepted in certain categories and/or restrictions on certain methods of delivery of continuing education. Please contact the licensing board in your state if there is any question whether the course you are interested in qualifies for credit for you.

When you sign up and pay for a VetRadCE.com course, you will receive an email acknowledging your purchase. The course materials will then be sent to you, usually on the same day, in the form of a PDF. You then have all the time you need or want to read the materials, do the quiz, and send your quiz answers.
